This will explode your progress, expect to hit 5 pull ups in 2 weeks. 5 every day, evenly spaced out throughout the day. You basically want to convince your body that pull ups are easy and no big deal, part of your day to day pattern.ДЄs for numbers, 5 is a good number. It has to be easy and perfect form, one is good in the beginning.

Not three, never max out on GTG, maxing out is for training days. What you do is, every time you walk near your door frame you do one or two pull ups. So on TOP of your regular pull up training 3 times a week, you add GTG training for pull ups. So, to move past where you are you need to employ 'grease-the-groove'. Your doorframe is fine for now, don't worry about doing wide grip until you can do about 10 regular.Дon't do narrow grip though, it puts even more focus on the biceps and it's not what you want in the beginning. We do not frown on weights or barbells as another tool for training.
